The Referee app has realtime heat sheets for use around the race course. The functionality of the heat sheets mimics the way we use the paper heat sheets except that they instantly update whenever a change is made which greatly reduces the radio chatter. The end effect is a like a perfectly balanced single of a champion sculler making it’s way through the water: quiet and powerful efficiency.
Features by Referee Position
The heat sheets offer different pieces of functionality depending up the position they are being used on the race course.

Sprint vs. Time Trial Orientation
The shape of the heat sheets is different depending on the type of racing. Heat sheets for sprint races are formed in the traditional horizontal table format and heat sheets for head races and time trials are oriented vertically to make more entries visible.

Search
A useful capability across all heat sheets is the ability to search for an flight, entry, or competitor. For example searching for “Ringo” highlights just the flights that Ringo Star is racing in:
For more information about how to use the heat sheets at the different positions around the race course, see the specific pages for each referee position.
