The Referee app has realtime heat sheets for use around the race course. The functionality of the heat sheets mimics the way we use the paper heat sheets except that they instantly update whenever a change is made which greatly reduces the radio chatter. The end effect is a like a perfectly balanced single of a champion sculler making it’s way through the water: quiet and powerful efficiency.

Sprint vs. Time Trial Orientation

The shape of the heat sheets is different depending on the type of racing. Heat sheets for sprint races are formed in the traditional horizontal table format and heat sheets for head races and time trials are oriented vertically to make more entries visible.
